The eighth and final chakra is known as Sahasrara or the crown chakra, and it is located at the top of your head.

However, there are also seven minor chakras that are associated with each foot. These are called Cakrasi Padmini and they lie between the big toe and little toe on each foot.

The feet are a reflection of our whole body. They carry our weight and stand for us, so it makes sense that they would be an important part of our overall well-being.

The feet contain seven main energy centers known as chakras, which correspond with different parts of the body and organs.

These energy centers are like wheels within wheels, spinning in different directions at different speeds. If one is out of balance, it can cause problems elsewhere in the body.

How To Activate The Foot Chakras?

There are two ways you can activate your foot chakra points

The simplest way to activate the chakras is through meditation. One way of achieving this is by doing a simple grounding meditation:

  1. To do so, sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes, and take deep breaths in and out through the nose.
  2. You can visualize colors coming into and out of your body while you breathe.
  3. When you begin to feel relaxed, focus on the soles of your feet.
  4. Imagine that they are hollow and that they are full of light, while also feeling the warmth of the light within them.
  5. As you continue to visualize, feel a connection between your feet and the ground below you – as if there is an umbilical cord attaching them to the earth – and imagine that all negative energy is leaving your body through your feet into the ground below.
  6. It can help to take another deep breath in after visualizing this transfer of energy, as it resets your system for more positive energy.
  7. Finally, bring your attention back to yourself and become aware of how you’re feeling. If you feel lighter or more relaxed, then you’ve successfully activated your foot chakra!
